Disable Buffalo on Adapt11C24 60K EVB?

Postby nukerdoggie » Tue Mar 18, 2008 11:15 am

Is there a way to disable Buffalo so that Microload can be used to download a program into the 32k external EEPROM? If not, can you point me to step-by-step instructions on how to use Buffalo to get my program into external EEPROM? My board does not have any JMPEE jumper that I can see to be used to get the board to execute my program once Buffalo downloads it into external EEPROM. All my board has is a note that "Grounding AN0 enables Buffalo".

BUFFALO can't be used to load to external EEPROM (only external RAM and internal EEPROM). Disable BUFFALO by clearing the ROMON bit in the Config register (i.e. writing 0C to 103F) and then use MicroLoad to load your code into external EEPROM.
